What a “P&C Intern” means to us
A "People-First" Mindset: You are naturally empathetic and find fulfillment in helping others. You understand that behind every Jira ticket or calendar invite is a human being.
Obsessive about Detail: You understand that in P&C, a typo in a contract or a missed birthday isn't just an error, it’s an employee experience gap.
Tech-Native & Process-Driven: You don’t just use the tools; you look for ways to make them work better. You have a natural inclination toward documentation and SOPs.
Cross-Cultural Curiosity: You are excited by the challenge of managing time zones and cultural nuances. You’re as interested in a public holiday in Singapore as you are in a festival in India.
The Vault (Discretion): You will handle sensitive data daily. You possess the maturity and integrity to maintain absolute confidentiality at all times.
How you can help us
There are certain functions and capabilities we believe are essential to this internship:
The Candidate Journey: You will become a power user of our ATS. Your goal is to move beyond simple scheduling, you’ll optimize our tools to ensure every candidate gets a fast, high-quality update. Eventually, you’ll shadow and then lead "Connect Calls" with candidates to help us find our next great hires.
A Warm Welcome (and Farewell): You’ll own the pre-onboarding magic, collecting documents, managing background checks, and ensuring every new joiner feels ready for Day 1. You’ll also handle the administrative side of offboarding, ensuring our departing teammates leave with a great final impression (and a farewell kit!).
Celebrating Our People: You will be the champion of birthdays, work anniversaries, and public holidays across three countries. Whether it’s coordinating vouchers or greeting, you make sure no one is forgotten.
Culture & Connection: You’ll help bring our "Culture Labs" to life, organizing festival celebrations, and "fun at work" initiatives that bridge the gap between our India, SG, and Indo offices.
The Data Engine: You won’t just enter data; you’ll help us visualize it. You’ll work on keeping our employee records pristine and help build P&C dashboards that tell the story of our growth.
Documentation as a Habit: Every process you touch, you improve and document. You will help us continue building our P&C Playbook from the ground up.
What we consider relevant qualifications, experience and knowledge
To succeed in this role and fast-track toward an Associate position, you should bring:
Educational Standing: You are either a recent graduate (within the last 12 months) or a final-year student who has completed all academic requirements and is available for a full-time, 6-month commitment. This role is designed for those looking to launch a long-term career in P&C.
Communication Mastery: Exceptional written and spoken English, with the ability to adjust your tone for different audiences (from nervous candidates to busy executives).
The "Startup Hustle": You are energized by the pace of a scaling startup and understand that 'building the plane while flying it' requires more agility than a traditional corporate environment.
Organizational Prowess: The ability to juggle "Scheduling" across multiple time zones without dropping the ball.
Problem-Solving Agility: You don’t just flag problems; you propose solutions. You’re the person who sees a messy spreadsheet and immediately thinks of a way to clean it up.
Digital Fluency: While we will train you on our specific stack, prior experience with G-Suite, Canva (for culture comms), or any ATS/HRIS is a significant plus.
Performance indicators to get you off to a great start
We don’t expect you to know everything on Day 1, but we do expect you to grow fast. Here is how we will measure your success:
The 100% Accuracy Mark: Within your first month, you are managing interview scheduling with zero calendar conflicts and 100% accuracy in candidate communication.
Documentation Milestone: By Month 2, you have authored or updated at least 3 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in P&C, making the process better for the next person.
The Data Guardian: You have successfully audited our Master Sheets and flagged discrepancies before they became payroll or compliance issues.
Regional Awareness: You can independently coordinate a celebration or event that accounts for the cultural nuances and public holidays of all three of our locations (India, SG, and Indonesia).
Candidate & Employee Pulse: You receive positive qualitative feedback from candidates for your responsiveness and from new joiners for a "seamless" onboarding experience.
