What a “P&C Intern” means to us
A "People-First" Mindset: You are naturally empathetic and find fulfilment in helping others. You understand that behind every Jira ticket or calendar invite is a human being.
Obsessive about Detail: You understand that in P&C, a typo in a contract or a missed birthday isn't just an error; it’s an employee experience gap.
Tech-Native & Process-Driven: You don’t just use the tools; you look for ways to make them work better. You have a natural inclination toward documentation and SOPs.
Cross-Cultural Curiosity: You are excited by the challenge of managing time zones and cultural nuances. You’re as interested in a public holiday in Singapore as you are in a festival in India.
The Vault (Discretion): You will handle sensitive data daily. You possess the maturity and integrity to maintain absolute confidentiality at all times.
How you can help us
There are certain functions and capabilities we believe are essential to this internship:
Candidate Experience Engine: Become a power user of our ATS. Manage interview coordination, candidate communication, and scheduling across multiple time zones with zero conflicts.
Pre-Onboarding & Offboarding Admin: Own the welcome logistics for new joiners (collecting onboarding documents, background check follow-ups, Day 1 readiness) and coordinate administrative steps for offboarding.
Employee Milestones & Recognition: Take full ownership of cross-region birthday celebrations, ensuring every team member across SG, India, and beyond feels remembered and valued. Support our tenure milestone programs (1, 3, and 5-year work anniversaries) by driving the coordination of appreciation campaigns, custom media, and gift logistics.
Culture & Regional Engagement: Co-create vibrant workplace culture initiatives across our hubs by planning and executing quarterly events, cultural celebrations, and team-bonding experiences.
Employee Asset Coordination: Assist with non-sensitive data projects, managing employee photo assets, organising team photoshoots, and collecting bio details for new joiners.
Process Playbook: Keep operational checklists and quick-reference guides updated as workflows evolve, helping us continuously refine our P&C operations.
What we consider relevant qualifications, experience and knowledge
To succeed in this role, you should bring:
Educational Standing: You are either a recent graduate (within the last 12 months) or a final-year student who has completed all academic requirements and is available for a full-time, 6-month commitment. This role is designed for those looking to launch a long-term career in P&C.
Communication Mastery: Exceptional written and spoken English, with the ability to adjust your tone for different audiences (from nervous candidates to busy executives).
The "Startup Hustle": You are energised by the pace of a scaling startup and understand that 'building the plane while flying it' requires more agility than a traditional corporate environment.
Organisational Prowess: The ability to juggle "Scheduling" across multiple time zones without dropping the ball.
Problem-Solving Agility: You don’t just flag problems; you propose solutions. You’re the person who sees a messy spreadsheet and immediately thinks of a way to clean it up.
Digital Fluency: While we will train you on our specific stack, prior experience with G-Suite, Canva (for culture comms), or any ATS/HRIS is a significant plus.
Performance indicators to get you off to a great start
We don’t expect you to know everything on Day 1, but we do expect you to grow fast. Here is how we will measure your success:
First 30 Days: Foundation & Operational Precision
Scheduling Mastery: Manage interview scheduling across multi-region time zones with 100% calendar accuracy and zero conflicts.
Milestone Ownership: Take full ownership of employee birthday execution, ensuring 100% on-time Slack greetings, India voucher distribution, and cake orders.
ATS Fluency: Become proficient in our ATS workflows, maintaining prompt and high-quality communication with candidates.
Days 31–60: Ownership & Coordination
Seamless Onboarding: Coordinate pre-onboarding checklists independently, earning positive feedback from new joiners for a smooth Day 1 experience.
Event & Culture Execution: Help plan and execute your first quarterly regional team event for our SG and India offices, managing vendor logistics and budget tracking smoothly.
Tenure Milestones: Successfully coordinate assets, custom media, and gift logistics for 1, 3, and 5-year work anniversary campaigns.
Days 61–90: Expansion & Candidate Connection
Connect Call Growth: Transition from shadowing recruiter connect calls to co-hosting initial candidate screenings for early-career roles.
Data & Asset Hygiene: Complete non-sensitive employee asset drives (organizing team photos, bios, and onboarding form records) with zero missing details.
Process Playbook: Update and refine at least 2 P&C workflow checklists to ensure continuous operational improvement.
Months 4–6: Autonomy
End-to-End Ownership: Run daily TA coordination, birthday celebrations, and regional culture initiatives with minimal supervision.
High Candidate & Employee Pulse: Receive consistently positive feedback from candidates on responsiveness and from internal teams on culture initiatives.
Conversion Readiness: Demonstrate the operational discipline, empathy, and initiative needed to step up into a full-time role.
